Has anyone else experienced this? I have a completely different recording on the SACD layer of a brand new (bought directly from Amazon) RCA Living Stereo SACD (Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony). The SACD layer contains Can's _Rite Time_.

I bought this item at least 4 times, and everything I have the experience similar to yours. For the one from amazon, obviously I returned it. But others are not that lucky.

This manufacturing plant errors are something rare and as philatelic stamps can have a Hi price in the future!! You may have thrown out money away.
Regards.
P.S.: >>> Perphaps this wrong/different redbook CD Layer is a proposital factory reuse of a CD layer lot, unused for the SACD disc it belong.

Allen got a problematic disc 4 times, so it's not a Blue Mauritius.

Only a mispressed Beatles original release from the 60s could become valuable, but not a classical music SACD.

The best solution is to order this disc from a european store, which would normally be the european pressing.

I sorry for Allen and others for this mishap. But who know the future? Those cans of soup of Warhol did not become art?
Of course this price appreciation may take several years.

Well, give it a last try, ordered from British amazon for US$11.xx (shipping included). Not bad as far as price is concerned.

But the total will be US$30 if I order from German amazon. JPC's price is even more ridiculous.

Hope EU press does not have such defect.

Purchased a copy from Amazon UK last week, it appears to be the same recording on the SACD layer as the RBCD.

Ciarain.

The copy from British Amazon just arrived, and finally, this one has the correct SACD layer, thank God!

All US distribution channels should be ashamed of themselves.
