Excuse me but have you read the replies from Claude, Domimag and Epsilon and others?
JPC is listed here as a seller and DVD4 music is not! That alone a major difference. Use your common sense and please be so polite to read the replies others where so kind to post! Really, this ingnorance of the people who bothered to answer your question ticks me off a little!
JPC is like amazon a major internet shop. If you do not want to order fine, but please put a little trust in this site here.

Excuse me, I was perfectly polite!

I didn't use any harsh language and just because a site is one here doesn't make it any more or less trustworthy.

I don't put Zeus or anyone else responsible for a 3rd party site nor should I and I can ask any question I wish as long as I don't insult anyone.

I made a statement that SO FAR I am not seeing a difference, how is that impolite, thank you?!

I take responsibility for the vendors linked here. If I didn't think they offered good service, they wouldn't be linked.

Graybard,
I have ordered a few times from JPC and they are fine.
The trick is to only order items that they have in stock. This is always listed. DON'T order items that are not in stock as you will likely have a long wait. I think I did this once long ago, and it was a long wait.

Ok, that's your call Zeus...

Just saying I was polite and just voiced an observation.

Are you saying I wasn't?

No one mentioned this before I ordered or when I asked earlier.

I ordered what they said was available and did so in good faith.

I also said it seemed I got upset with DVD4Music because they also said they had something available and didn't and started delaying practices.

If everyone here says that JPC are honest and I will eventually will get what I ordered, I am more than willing to wait. I haven't canceled with them nor sent a hostile email because of the delay, just said I looked forward to getting my order and keep me in the loop.

I just said at this point both sites look the same to me at this end.

JPC is waits until they have all ordered items before shipping, that's all. You can always edit your order before shipping of course if you get tired of waiting. Their ordering system is quite user friendly.

Greybard, there were at least four posts that stated JPC was fine and one telling you that it was the largest second German internet store. Yet, you wrote you can't see any difference so far between the two stores and stuck to two posts that seemed to prove your suspicion. Either you did not bother to read those even though you started the thread or you chose to ignore them. Either way is not polite imho.
If you order stuff that is not in Stock, you have to wait. They try to get it and if not they fully refund your money. AFAIK their listings are always correct. In stock is in stock and othwerwise stated. There may be rare exceptions, but I have not encountered them.

No, just the opposite. The trick is to order goods that are NOT in stock.

Here is a part of the FAQ section of jpc
see also: http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/home/static/-/page/faq.html

"I still have an open order and want to add an item. Do I have to pay shipping twice?

We always automatically combine open orders. If we already have one order that has not yet been shipped, all new orders will automatically be added so that you only pay shipping once. You can check to see whether your order has already been shipped in Customer LogIn."

I use (or abuse, if you like to call it this way) this frequently.
You are paying a postal fee per ORDER (not per item).
I mostly order an item in stock and at the same time an item NOT in stock (or a pre-order). As long as the order is not completely finished, all extra items that you order do not have a extra shipping cost.

Beginning of june, the remasters of the Beatles were announced and placed for pre-order at JPC.
So I ordered a CD (in or out of stock, doesn't really matter) and one of the Beatles CD's, which is available at 09.09.
So for all my orders between June and 09.09, I only pay a one time shipping cost (6 Euro from Germany to Belgium).

JPC ships the goods when they come available and not neccesary when ALL items are in (so at 09.09). You will get most of them a lot sooner.

I will even (ab)use this system a little further. Beginning of October, the remasters of Kraftwerk are announced and are already available for pre-order. I'm going to order the Kraftwerk boxset, BEFORE the shipment of the Beatles CD (so before the june order is CLOSED). This will extent my original June order to the beginning of october. Yes, I'm bad.

Needless to say, JPC is my standard supplier and I NEVER had problems with them.

HV,
You are in Belgium, and I am in US or Australia. Shipping charges are a lot different for overseas. So I don't order from them very often, about only when they have something not really available elsewhere.
I think JPC is a very good dealer.

I didn't imply anything other than what I said. I've also ordered from them numerous times in the past and provided you're aware that shipment is per order and you wait until you've got enough discs to make it worthwhile, it can work out quite reasonable. Even to Australia. Their range is also excellent. Not that it makes any difference to you but my dealings with them as an affiliate of more than five years have been very positive.
