I am extremely interested in pre-ordering this one. Will this be Multichannel and DSD like the Haitink Symphony 8 recording? Anyone have any info on this?

Hello

Yes it is a 5.0 multichannel record. Not in DSD (88.2 Khz) but for my taste better recorded than No 8 by Haitink.

Ordered and received by JPC.

Regards.

I saw on abruckner.com an announcement of two new Bruckner recordings for SACD from Jansons with RCO, B6 and B7. Has anybody more info about this (release date etc.)? Have they recorded a complete cycle? (which seems improbable, given that he will quit his A'dam job quite soon)

This double-disc release is already listed on HMV Japan, with a Jan 31 date; check there.
