Mine varies as I add to the wish list and make purchases. I just finished updating my wish list and the current ratio is 643/47. I also have a couple items on the wish list now apparently out of print and so that makes the pursuit of sacd titles interesting in a way that I would rather was not.

Up to 62 now but will be reduced markedly when items from a substantial Crochet order begin to arrive! Library is up to 749. The new Julia Fischer Schubert is a real gem!

Bruce, maybe you just don't realise how lucky you are over in dollar-land with sterling on the skids right now. Over here Crotchet seems to be quite uncompetitive on price; we tend to have to look elsewhere. Elsewhere used to mean the US mostly when the £ was strong but now nowhere is cheap enough to buy more than one or two at a time.

The whole idea of a weak pound of course is to discourage imports and promote exports so in that sense we seem to have a working policy - mark that down as a first - but we don't make many SACD's here so in this hobby we are most certainly amongst the losers'.

Improved commutativity through a devalued currency is one thing, but the economic crisis in Europe will not be good for domestic sales.

There just aren't any discs out there for non-classical fans. My list is at around 4 or so, and it's music that is "marginal" as far as my tastes go. For a while there, it looked like the Eno SACDs were going to come out. I can't imagine anyone other than a classical fan with more than 40 or 50 SACDs: truly sad.

Eno would be fantastic indeed.

My main interest also lies with pop and electronic music yet of the 100+ SACDs I own, 60 are in the pop/rock genre without too many of marginal interest. The point of gravity of my library is slowly shifting away from pop to classical, and the same is happening with my wish list.

My wish lists now counts 30 items and while I frequently buy one, items get added faster than they get removed due to a purchase -- simply because my knowledge of what's already out there improves over time with reading about it more.
