I'm not that familiar with the rest of the offerings of that label and was hoping some of the long term forum members could recommend some of the better titles in the series.

Dear Killer,
It is dangerous to buy by the tastes of others, why what is good music for me may be bad music for you.
Better you hear sound samples of the SACDs you want on the link of the JPC site on the right side of each disc page on this site, and find if you like the music.
However the advice of others people knowledgeable of matter may be useful some times, but only you can decide if that music is good for your tastes.
I always listen before buy a SACD on the JPC link and Iam 100% satisfied with my purchases.
Best Buys...

FullRangeMan,

I'll have to respectfully disagree with your statement of "It's dangerous to buy by the tastes of others, why what is good music for me may be bad music for you."

For if we don't seek the expertise of others in their range and enjoyment of music how can we discover new artists, performances and the like?

My approach is to usually seek out opinions, do the research and make my mind up for myself.

I guess because the approach of this forum (unless I'm mistaken) is to discuss the SACD aspects of a recording (or DSD or other related technology) and determine whether the treatment adds or subtracts to the quality of the production, that ultimately is what I'm really interested in learning about.

And with the prices of these discs now, it makes sense to ask around as much as possible to determine which ones really are high quality releases and which are so-so.

I do appreciate you pointing this out though as well as offering the advice about the JPC link so I'll be sure to use that in the future.

KP.
