Does anyone have any comments on the new TBM SACD releases? Does the sound quality compete or better the XRCD versions?

Are you referring to the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto SA-CDs from FIM?

Sorry, I haven't heard them (in either incarnation).

You realize, of course, that anybody who posts such a query and doesn't get a relevant reply is then duty bound to buy the discs themselves and report back? :-).

I think my duty is broader than you state, which is to say: to first purchase the relevant TBM 8-track, then the LP version, then the CD version, then the XRCD version, then the SACD version, then the Blu-Light DVD version, then the Holographic Reality-Infused Light Transmission version, then the History Transporter version to transport me back into the original recording studio.

Re the above SACD, fantastic sound, perhaps the best I've heard on the SACD format.
