Anyone know whether this is another "drawn from the archives" recording or if it was recently recorded?

According to the introduction text to the series, these orchestral recordings should be recent:
"The orchestral works (including stage works) are recorded with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Zoltán Kocsis, and Kocsis plays the piano part of the chamber works, songs and choral works, as well as Bartók's transcriptions of pieces by Baroque composers.
No new recordings will be made of the solo piano works: Hungaroton is using Kocsis's complete edition of solo piano works released on the Philip's label, in addition to the Rhapsody and Scherzo with the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Iván Fischer.
The series is completed with valuable archive recordings (such as Bartók's own piano playing or the recording of the world premiere of the Violin Concerto with Zoltán Székely)."

The Dance Suite was previously coupled with the Concerto for Orchestra. And now it reappears. Or am I missing something?

Correct. The Dance Suite was previously released on SACD Bartok: Concerto for Orchestra etc. - Zoltan Kocsis, which is not part of the "Bartok New Series" the other works are newly recorded.
Suite No. 2 (complete) composed 1905-07, 1942 version (recorded 2007)
Rumanian Dance (recorded 2008)
Rumanian Folk Dances (recorded 2008)
Dance Suite (recorded 2002)
Suite No. 2 - 1921 version 3rd & 4th movements only (recorded 2007)
This is one of those SACDs from undisclosed masters, it has a very slight PCM signature, though not objectionably so and the sound is quite spectacular and powerful with just a very slight edge to the string tone when going full tilt.
Four volumes of the projected 31 volumes of the "Bartok New Series" have been released on SACD so far, anyone know when the other 37 SACDs will be released?

It is too late I think, to do anything about it vis a vis the BBC Music magazine discs of the year, but this was also a nominee, one that I unfortunately missed in my postings concerning that thread.

In a word, nonexistent -- but I am somewhat practiced at translating musical titles:
- Dance Suite for orchestra (1923, Somfai cat. 86, Szöllesy cat. 77)
- Appendix* II. suite for small orchestra (1921 version) (3rd, 4th item)
I knew that Bartók transcribed the Dance Suite for piano in 1925, but it seems that the Dance Suite was written originally for chamber orchestra -- news to me (and Grove?).
