I have just purchased a copy of this exciting cd and am so happy with the performance and recording
quality that I had no choice of writing a review of the cd.
It is some of the best orchestral playing I have ever heard, check it out !

The disc received a negative review in the February issue of the french Diapason magazine, although they still gave it 3 stars (on a scale of 6).

Funny how folks here imply notelover is a Russian mafia stooge or something. That's some wide reach of the KGB you folks imagine! :) And if he/she is, I say, kudos to the Russians -- and hope CIA is moving into SACD too then, let the market grow!

The brat and Polly agree that the Strasbourg Phil. is a second rate orchestra, check out our
Pentatone - Strasbourg Phil. reviews..
