Thanks for the review. I agree almost completely. I too learned the work from the Mehta recording. I loved the music, but thought the recording didn't quite capture its essence. But with every new recording that came out (and I think I must have tried them all), I had to go back to the Mehta and reluctantly admit that it was the better performance. Kreizberg's is the first one not to make me feel this way!

This should be a must buy for any collector interested in (late) Romanticism.
