They were released in Japan on 30/10/2009, to be more precise.

The Sibelius SACD, specially the Karelia Suite (simply amazing performance and sonics), is the best one on this series, so far.

Hi, I'm heading for Tokyo next week. Does anyone know where I can find these in Tokyo? Specifically I'm looking for the Brahms,Sibelius and Tchaikovsky.

Thanks.

The best classical Disk Union is IMO at Ochanomizu. It is close to Akihabara and Ishimaru soft. You simply walk the distance, up a little hill beside the Chuo line (orange line), go past the train station on your right, and it's across the street from Lotteria (a McDonalds-typechain). That store has more used discs than Shinjuku, I believe, but I could be wrong.

Thanks guys for the tips. Looks easy enough to locate the store. Hopefully they have stocks when I get there.

Usually Japanese discs have recommended price printed on the "side paper stripe". Do these stores stick to this recommended pricing?

Usually yes. There are instances where older releases might get some % off. In this case, definitely expect to pay sticker price. You can accrue points toward future purchases at Ishimaru with a point card that they usually offer. Tower Records the same. Disk Union, I don't think so.
