I try to mention and link to this site at every opportunity on other boards. Can any of you suggest other ways to promote this site?

The more users we have will generate wider discussion in opinions and topics. I think we should try to find ways of reaching people who don't frequent all the "regular" boards. It would also be in the record companies interests to promote this site as while some products do get criticized, there are widely varying opinions as can be seen in some of the discussions. Maybe some of them can promote their recordings that get **** reviews on this site by referring to that fact in their advertising and printing this URL.

BTW Should we talk about SACD hardware at all on this board?

Thanks for the links! I advertise on Google AdWords (you may have seen the ad) and can pull in as many new visitors as I want. Easily hundreds or maybe thousands a day. However, for what I'm able to spend, my click-throughs are used up very quickly. The more revenue this site generates, the more I'll be able to spend. Currently I'm covering hosting costs but that's about it.

As for hardware, you can talk about anything you want. I saw mention of a new Marantz SA-8400 (in addition to the DV-8400) and was thinking of mentioning it here.

Stephen, re the new Marantz, Gramophone audio reported that the upgrades are to its video abilities with DVD and that the audio side of the player is fundamentally unchanged.

The Marantz SA-8400 is a new player, and would appear to be SACD only. See:

The SA8400 is a new machine, an SA player, but the DV 8400 is the upgraded version of the 8300 that everyone raved about last year, which is a "universal player" that boast very good SACD and Cd sound. Would be great to compare the sound of the two. If anyone hears them side by side, please post your responses on the site.
