Many thanks. Ordered. I hope you are right and more back-catalogue releases come out. Having stereo recording of old records on SACD is like having a vinyl version but without the inherent problems! More, please!

Hi,

not only Doobie Brothers.
Also E, L & P: "Brain Salad Surgery", which was remastered years ago as a DVD-Audio, will be realeased as a Multichannel-Hybrid-SACD. Amazon.co.uk doesn't mentioned it as a SACD, but amazon.de (http://www.amazon.de/Brain-Salad-Surgery-Emerson-Palmer/dp/B0017M8XS6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1220020836&sr=1-1).
I have the DVD-Audio and this is a refernce recording for me.
Hope, that this will be a start, that all E, L & P Albums will be released as MCH-SACDs.

Look at the price. Do you really think this is real? What is a Ringle? What does Soundtrack has to do with it? Enhanced? A box set with one disc that is both a Dualdisc and a SACD.

Why can't I find this on the Rhino webpage or the Doobies page?

It is not a SA-CD.
It is a pretty nice sounding RBCD.

Is this 2 discs or 1? Amazon says it is 1 disc, but it also says it is a dualdisc. It seems to me that this should be a 2 disc set. How can you put an SACD and a Dualdisc all into one disc? Also, my SACD player doesn't like Dualdiscs. Any info on this?

Rhino Flashback is a budget reissue CD (and cassette!) series. These are not SACD, nor Dualdiscs, Single, Ringle or Jingle discs ;-)
