I brought up a new thread recently having to do with the TRL Sony CE 595 Mod. First I've put about four hundred hours break in into the unit which Paul Wetzel of TRL says is only part of the five hundred required.
Last night on the first playing of Tumbleweed Connection, I blurted out the words, I've never heard music like that before. It was a very honest, unexpected comment.
I don't know if this will all pan out to cover the $750.00 I spent but I would like to hear from more recent owners of the mod. It seems like there was a lot of hoopla a few years back and then it stopped. No one seemed to say it was horrible (I did see a few negative comments but these were those who thought it through and were not buyers) although quite a few spoke well of it. Any more mod owners of recent purchase around that I could hear from?
