Here is a copy of a reply to an e-mail I sent to Groove Note regarding my cracking copy of 'Jacintha Is Her Name':
Thanks for your e-mail. If you could fax us a copy of the sales receipt we will send a replacement copy to you in Canada ourselves. Please allow us a week or so to ship out as we are awaiting a repress from Crest some time this week.
Also, we will need your mailing address in Canada.
Best regards,
Ying Tan
Good to see they are doing something about the problem.

I'm happy to inform everyone that Groove Note lived up to their promise and I received a new copy of the Jacintha SACD this morning. Thank you Groove Note.

Khorn,
I wouldn't have expected anything less from Mr. Tan; he's truly THE gentleman of the audiophile industry currently.
It doesn't hurt any that his recordings are so well made either.
I understand that he has two more Concord reissues on the way. He notes:
> Dear SGB, > > Hope you're fully recovered and well. I've been busy trying to get some > more licensing done. Meanwhile we will be preparing another two Concord > for release at CES 2004: Scott Hamilton - Tenor Shoes and Stan Getz Blue > Skies.
> Thanks and best regards, > > Ying

Although Hamilton isn't in Stan's league, he is one of the best tenor players to emerge in the past 30 years. I have several of the Hamilton CJ albums on LP, but not this one.
