Discussion: Handel: Organ Concertos Op. 4 - Egarr

The disc booklet says this recording is "Recorded, edited & mastered in DSD". It was recorded in November 2006 at St Jude's-on-the-Hill, Hampstead Garden, London and the sound is phenonemally good: crisp, clear and finely detailed.

I wonder how this new recording compares sonically with the much older (presumably originally analogue) Chorzempa recording of the Op. 4 concertos on Pentatone, which I own only on LP (!). Has anyone compared the SACDs?

I already have this SACD and can't take advantage of this offer myself, so I'll pass this along to those who don't. http://www.prestoclassical.co.uk/ is offering the disc at half price for one week only (it's part of their ongoing Harmonia Mundi promotion in which a different disc is offered at half price each week). At today's exchange rate
(1 GBP = 1.50242 USD) the price, including shipping to the US, is about $11.30 USD.
