Thread: Steve Vai's 20th Anniversary of "Passion And Warfare" as a MultiChannel SACD - Yes or No?

I put up a poll tonight over at vai.com to see what the majority of fans would favor regarding this brilliant album that was originally released in 1990 but still sounds like it just hit the shelves.

Naturally, because we supposedly have Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" SACD to look forward to in a few months, I think by the time the emotional bliss subsides from that release, this instrumental gem could make a comeback in a very special way.

When and where did you hear that "Wish You Were Here" was going to be released on SACD ? I've been waiting for this a very long time and have been told that it will never be released on SACD or DVD-A

”Wish you were here” was to be released in 2005 – but it never happened. Now there is this fan site that claims or at least gives a hint of an upcoming release in February 2008. You can see for yourself here:

I doubt it will appear, but will be happy if proven wrong. Wishful thinking!
