Well, it's not a joke. But making predictions far off from when it may just plain old happen one of these months isn't going to solve anyone's heartache - but it may show that there's still interest out there, and believe me, there is. I can't reveal a lot but according to people who definitely know whats up, who I have directly interfaced with (sans-internet; this game of telephone is pretty short) - this is still probably going to happen.
I know more now than I knew then. After getting frustrated by 'rumor aggregation' I took it upon myself to really just find out once and for all what was up. A lot can still (unfortunately) happen between now and September:
But, simply factually: those involved, hands on, in the creation and release of SACD WYWH have not counted it out yet. This isn't anything you'll find on the internet.
I didn't think it was going to happen back then. I do now. I'm saying as much as I can without getting in trouble.
Be optimistic. This is coming from a pessimist. A pessimist with a Sonoma. Thank you, and goodnight.

Well, my remark was meant to show the irony of the fact that so many SACD addicts/lovers (including me) are already waiting several years for a title called "Wish You Were Here". If it is a joke to put out rumors of an SACD title coming up, then this would be a suitable title.
Anyway, Michi, thank you for your elaboration. In the end we all know: time will tell... Let's hope nothing strange will happen between now and September that will change the minds of the people that are able to make the WYWH SACD become reality.
