Okay...

Solti/CSO:
Berlioz, Symphonie Fantastique (favorite K Wilkinson/Krannert recording)
Stravinsky, Rite of Spring
Mahler, Symphony No. 6
Brahms, The 4 Symphonies
probably a few others

Solti (either LPO or LSO..cannot remember as it was on vinyl MANY years ago)
Holst, The Planets

Solti/Opera
Strauss, Salome & Electra
Wagner, all of it, especially an AFFORDABLE Ring Cycle

London/Decca Opera
basically any and all operas (Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, etc) with Richard Bonynge (SP??)/Joan Sutherland/Pavarotti/Sherill Milnes/Ghiarouv

James Levine/CSO
Mahler, Symphony No. 7 (an RCA Soundstream recording)

'nuff for now

Cheers,

I know it will never happen, due to their less than popular world wide appeal, there are some stunning Australian rock albums that would benefit from a correctly done SACD treatment, like:
Midnight Oil
Cold Chisel
INXS

One of my all time favorite rock bands would make the trip to SACD quite well.
Sherbs. Both Defying Gravity and Parallel Bars.

But this has even less world wide appeal than your short list.

Rammiepie, Chris Isaac's "Heart Shaped World" was promised on DVD-Audio then Warner Bros. canceled all upcoming DVD-Audio releases, so the hi-res stereo and multichannel programs should be done and ready to be released.

I have the German pressing LP, IMHO the SACD should sound great.

So why isn't Warners/Japan releasing any more 5.1 SACD releases as "Heart Shaped World" is only one of many which has been remastered for a hi~def release?

All of his albums are masterfully recorded........but they seem to be released on Vinyl as the fix for hi~def!
