I guess a lot of Vangelis albums lend themselves well to SACD. I've got Antarctica on my wish list.

The following unrepresented or underrepresented composers (a very short list, off the top of my head, and in no particular order):

Lutoslawski, Varese, Zemlinsky, Busoni, Hoddinott, Miaskovsky (especially the Cello Concerto), Piston, Diamond, Marthias. I have an EMI CD with Busoni's Sarabande and Cortege, Franz Schmidt's Variations on a Hussar's Song, and Lutoslawski's Symphonic Variations and Postlude No. 1 that I would LOVE to see as an SACD.

Also, it seems to me that SACD is the PERFECT medium for prog rock in its many forms, much as it is for classical - Camel, Le Orme, Yes, Rush, Van Der Graf Generator, Harmonioum, more Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, etc., etc. Very disappointed to see King Crimson on DVD-A and not SACD as I really don't want to have to use a video screen to play muisc - or is that not the case any more?

Hans Zimmer!
As his CD's are really great regarding sonics and performance it will be exceptional on SACD. Even if it's not DSD, I think this guy is clever enough for having record his production in the good way to create marvelous SACD. This guy is like Chris Botti (better actually), great talent and a lot of money.

stop being an old fuddy dud and buy King Crimson on DVD-A. On two out of three of my DVD-A players, the album plays instantly. On the OPPO BDP-83, it goes into menu mode but when you hear Court of The Crimson King in 5.1 surround, there's absolutely NO going back!

To hear Loreena's music on SACD (engineered for SACD by Dirk Sobotka and Kevin Killen and transferred to DSD with GRIMM AD1 DSD converter) would be an out of this world experience.

Quinlan Road - stop sleeping!!!
