dear terence, many thanks. The orchestra sounds excellent on the excerpts, the singing adequate but poss a little rough (espec. male alto and contralto), soprano a little bleaty, chorus adequate but maybe a little too deliberate and generally, diction a little too slurred - but of course it could be completely difft in m/c & at hi res (I assume at 24/96 ????). If you get it yourself, could you let me know what you think about how the sound helps or hinders the performances. Thanks, best wishes, B.
