Sometimes I really wonder if reviewers actually listen to the discs. I've read several reviews of this disc now, and none have mentioned how thoroughly alternate this performance of the "Cuban Overture" is, with Tyzik's effective and fun rescoring of the coda (which I especially have yet to see mentioned).

I've written reviews of portions of recordings in the past, but I try to remember to detail this in my reviews. Sometimes I forget. It wouldn't surprise me to see a review in a national magazine that would totally ignore the Cuban Overture, though. Thanks for the heads-up, though, on this performance of it.

Nothing against darkroommd, but his review made no mention of the Cuban too. So I put my money where my mouth is and posted something.
