I finally got the Bach "Oboenwerke" Volumes 1 & 2. Very nice. I ordered mine from jpc, but note that amazon.de is now selling these as well. I plan to get Volume 3 and their Mozart disc when released.

I'd be interested to hear from anybody who has tried the Berezovsky/Bortnyansky/Tietz discs regarding the musical content.

I just listened to the Berezovsky, whom I did not know before. He was a Russian contemporary of the early Mozart and so his music sounds. The first piece is a small Sinfonia, then there are some arias from an opera - which reminded me and my young daughter of the "Zauberflöte" - ,then some sonatas for strings and harpsichord, which remind me of Haydn at his best!! Music worth to know, very catchy. Maybe due to the orchestra, the interpretation and the sound, as you know recorded by Polyhymnia, very natural and direct. I own three discs of Caro mitis, the first two volumes of Bach, and now this one, imo the best up to now. - For future releases I wished early Mozart or Bach performed by the Pratum Integrum Orchestra and - why not - a complete Mozart Opera.
