Just listened to this for the first time. Much more clarity of instruments and vocals compared to my old RBCD. It was like listening to a new version - some might miss the "Wall of Sound" feeling that I, for one, got from the RBCD. I am not familiar with the LP's - despite the fact that the Moodies were huge in my youth, I was mostly listening to Beethoven and Mahler by then - I "discovered" the Moodies in the 90's!
One odd thing - in SACD multichannel mode my Sony did not recognize the bonus tracks - had to manually switch to stereo to play them.
This is one of my favorite Moody Blues albums. Recommended.
