Hi folks! Yesterday I received this SACD from amazon germany.
As a big fan of Clint Eastwood I was very excited to hear the album's last track "Why should I care" becaus he was involved in writing this song. But sadly, the album ends with track #12. There simply is no track 13. Is it missing? A mastering mistake or a hidden track. It's so sad :-(
btw. in spite of this, the album is wonderful and the surround-mix absolutely fantasic with a near perfect bass-fundament!

Robert, I also have this SACD and from my copy track 13 is played normally. I also agree with you on the sound quality, it's outstanding.
Kind regards. - Wilfried

Track #13 is also missing from my copy of this release. At first I thought it might be a player problem but obviously it's the disc itself.

On the DVD-Audio version track 13 is only available in Advanced Resolution Stereo, and is missing from the surround playlist. Maybe that also applies to the SACD.
Just a guess...

For SACD, track 13 is only available on the stereo programme. I presume you were locked into the surround programme Unlike DVD-A's automated-mixdown capability, SACD has separate stereo and surround programmes:
"Sony and Philips contend (and most top-notch recording engineers would agree) that it is not possible to do justice to stereo by having a player generate it from a surround mix (SACD has a separate stereo track = it does not incorporate anything like DVD-Audio's Smart Contents automated-mixdown capability]In the studio, stereo mixes are made from the original multitrack master, not from a surround mix thereof. Sometimes even the microphone setup is different for stereo than for surround sound." [Edward Foster ["Super Audio CD: Evolutionary or Revolutionary?" Audio, November 1999, Vol. 83, No. 10, pp. 40-47]
