Does anyone else have playability problems with this disc? On my Sony XA777ES there are "drop outs" on every track (in hi-rez stereo). The disc plays fine on my Philips DVD963SA.

No problem here, and it was a nice addition to my collection. Guitar is nowhere near as prevalent as if, say Pepe Romero, was the guitarist.

I hope my Sony isn't dying. There is at least another hybrid (Shostakovich 11/Rostropovich) that it can't play anymore in hi-rez.
I tried the aluminium foil trick suggested on Audio Asylum (to get rid of static on the discs), but it didn't help.

Dying or in need of some sort of configuration adjustment? My Sony XA9000ES is having some difficulty with several discs, drop out on the Rosalyra Quartet's Shostakovitch, and refusal to play some discs unless I go from text mode to time mode in the display, but there are couple membrans it won't play at all. I imagine that what ever it is wrong can be fixed - just hope I can find the receipt for a warranty claim!

I got a redbook cd when I bought this even though it says SACD on the packaging. What's the deal? Who do I contact to correct this mistake?
