I like a lot of Jennifer Warnes other releases, "The Hunter" and "Famous Blue Raincoat" are both classic must have female vocal discs- IMO. Is this on par with her other music? I have not heard a peep about it from anyone. Thanks for any information!

I got The well, from the library system - was ok but not up to Raincoat. I very much enjoyed "Invitation to the Blues", best cut on the CD in my opinion. Try your library system - you would be surprised what you can audition.

"The Well" is my second favorite Jennifer Warnes album, next to "Raincoat." It is in my top 10 albums i can't live without, I love it that much. Give it a listen!

I rated it No. 5 in my Top 50 SACDs
5. JENNIFER WARNES: The Well [Analog] - Cisco Music SCD 2034 - Mastered by Bernie Grudman is musically and sonically one of my favorite SACDs, The Patriot's Dream is my favorite song but this whole recording is fantastic and my favorite Jennifer Warnes recording.
I liked "The Hunter" LP but did not like "Famous Blue Raincoat" LP at all.
