I'm glad that Cloudschatzes' review mentions distortion. This has been a problem on Celine Dion's recordings for a long time. It doesn't seem to be a "mix" problem, though.
The mic and the preamp Celine uses are first rate... I don't see how the finger of blame can point anywhere other than to Humberto Gatica, the cat who records her vocals. Of course, C.D. may prefer to hear herself distorting... but it's a shame that one of the best pop singers of our time should have her recordings permanently and intentionally marred in this way.
It's not a fault of the SACD or the mix - if I'm correct, this is happening as the track is recorded, so there is no "undistorting" it for future mixes.
The problem is she's sold so many albums it would by difficult for anyone to persuade her recording team that they're doing something dreadfully wrong.

I will receive it in 3 days, i'll see if there are distortion, but it's curious because all cd of céline are well recording....I have the cd, i'll see the difference with the SACD like that.
The best recording CD of céline is "D'Eux", absolutly perfect !!! one of my best CD with AERO of Jean michel jarre. BEt oF THE BEst CD/SACD/XRCD etc ever made !!! Recording in "Super Stéréo and 5.1/dts", it's the war in the room :)

Myself and four other posters on Amazon [US] have had NO issues with distortion in this Celine Dion recording. Perhaps poster POPP had issues with his system (faulty speaker elements, perhaps)!

I agree with rammiepie.
Those complaining are probably experiencing an overload on their equipment's inputs.
