Will this disc be available at the usual outlets any time soon?

Yes, it will be on the usual sites like Amazon within a week or 2 - remember to click from SA-CD.net so that it helps fund this site!

Is there an update available on the release of "Emerging"?

Sorry to dig us this thread. Emerging is out right after RMAF2012 and now we have the Formosan Duo. Just gotten this disc a couple of days ago along with the Mozart Piano Sonatas boxset.

PS: I have gotten almost all SACDs under this label except the Purity T Minus 5 (it was sold out already). What I got is the 2009 reissue which I have gotten off the bay. Trying my luck at second hand market now.

T Minus 5: Purity

Check the Amazon listing, brand new copies are listed right now at pretty low prices.

Thank you so much for your pointer Sir. Managed to grab a sealed copy for a very reasonable price on the T minus 5. A shame it's too short. I finished listening to that disc, craving for more. Now my IsoMike SACDs recordings are complete. Time to give the fourth Mozart Sonata disc a listen...

^ You're welcome.
I was disappointed with the short length of the disc as well. The singing is good, but I do not find that there is enough variety within their arrangements for me to really hear what this ensemble can do.

I hope that includes the Test discs, the choir work on those is as good as anything on Purity.

@Beagle: yes, that includes everything listed on official IsoMike website except the last 2 discs which I think they are not SACD (88Keys and HE2004) and I have no chance to get them anymore.

Managed to listen to all but the last 2 discs on the Mozart Sonata.

Overall, the phase is not really an issue on my application as I can do the change with a push of a button. Certainly these recording techniques can be considered state of the art. The dynamic range and dynamic contrast on these discs are just staggeringly real. It's just that Ray has to get this travel around the world to record at more great venues.
