Thread: Library synch - old and new site

One of the useful features of the new HRAudio site is the ability to port your SA-CD.net library once you re establish login with the same email address (btw, why can't we use the same login handle, instead of entering a much longer full email address every time?)

Now, out of multi-year habit, I continued entering new sacd acquisitions into the SA-CD.net database AFTER performing the import step mentioned above. I guess I half-expected the new items to appear in the new HRAudio database as well, but of course they did not.

Does anyone know how to perform a re-import of one's sa-cd.net database to bring the HRAudio one up to date? Of course, would be best to have a way to synch them automatically, but I'm not too hopeful for that.

Thanks

Yes I had mentioned this issue also, I think the expectation by TPTB is that you would be using the new database on the new site exclusively once you signed up. There are now enough new releases that are not in the database on the old site that with new purchases it may be impossible for you to keep things current here. I wish that we would be allowed to keep the database here current, but obviously that's not going to happen.

Dumb as dumb can be. Cutting off his nose to spite his face.

I do believe Zeus' intention is to ween us off the old site so that we frequent the new one.

Deribas, you can try this:

If the email addresses on both sites match, click on the following link:

http://www.hraudio.net/migrate.php

DO NOT CLICK ON THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO MIGRATE YOUR LIBRARY/WISHLIST/RECOMMENDATIONS (AGAIN).

That worked well.

Just ensure you're logged at the new site, before re-migrating library.

Mark, thanks a lot. Worked beautifully to solve the issue posed in the OP.
