Gerald, I am shocked that your sensitive ears could withstand Vangelis' haunting 'synthesizer' score since you abhor 'modern' instruments of any nature.

I do wish there would be a hi res release of the Chariots of Fire soundtrack in 5.1 since it did contribute to the success of the movie.

BTW, despite your 'persnickety' reservations about MTT and the SFS Adams: Absolute Jest, Grand Pianola Music - Tilson Thomas, Adams it really is quite musical and loverly!
