Just listened yo this disc tonight. Very good no gimmicks what so ever. Front load but highly immersive and very enjoyable. Nothing irritating and no ear fatigue at all.

*like*

I just saw them in July on the R40 tour. The band was wonderful. The sound, was OK. Which was a disappointment, as going back to 1977, they had always had the best sound on the planet.

When I listen to the older albums, (Hemispheres), they are even better now than they were then. They are more confident, cohesive, solid, and playful. Nothing to prove, only enjoy themselves.

sigh

Now look forward to this offering.

Yes, I saw them in July also at SAP Center San Jose. Great show, I agree sound was over modulated, very muddy, but I loved it and had a great time. My 3rd time seeing Rush.

I own every 5.1 of Rush and I would say Signals is the most tame. My favorite of the Rush 5.1's is 2112 with the comic book onscreen that you can follow along with.

The only untamed digital version of Signals is UDCD 614 (MFSL release) circulating on ebay for around sixty quids.
