I see the new site is up and just as I thought, it's an effort to make it into a hi-rez classicstoday type thing. Shame, a real shame and a site I'll hardly go to. There's enough of those kind of sites and musicweb, classicstoday, audaud, etc., are enough

So this is the new site....... Are you joking? I would never bookmark it. Embarrassing. Start over from scratch, Stephen. No joke. No one with an IQ above 85 would think this is better than the current SA-CD.net.

odd, it's called hires audio, but until now hires downloads were more or less banned from the old site, or at least not covered (says a download-averse person).

Basically, the revamped site is rather just a new site. One has to create a new login. I'm checking out. For new SACDs I'll just periodically check the labels sites themselves instead. Real shame about the forum disappearing, which for me as for many was the real reason to check SA-CD.net on an almost daily basis. For reviews, there are more trustworthy (i.e. more professional) sources.

Seems to work better on my phone than the old site. Not had a proper poke around yet though.

I really hope the forum can be retained, however.

all who have ever submitted reviews for SA-CD.net will be sorely disappointed; bar the site reviews, all reviews have been removed from the new site. Great. Thanks very much!

Is the new site finished then? Or have the rest of the reviews just not been transferred over yet?

even all your recommendations appear to have been erased! compare e.g. the following Prazak disc, which I reviewed; no recommendations anymore, no reviews:

Unless the site reviewers will review this disc and ALL other discs that have in the past been reviewed by so many of us, the new site will lose any historical relevance, and be nothing but a repository aimed at generating money.
