This disc is now released. I have it in my possession, # 1599.
I will do review after a couple spins, but not feeling the sonic quality just yet.

I have the Warner/Rhino MLP DVD~A 5.1 and it is one of the better sounding hi res discs in my collection and well worth seeking out.

Not at all. I was led to believe that most common multichannel equipment can synthesize the rear channels from a stereo recording.

Faux surround, Euell? Really? While some albums synthesize well in what is termed DSP surround, there is nothing like the Real McCoy!

Much as I enjoy the Surround Master for Stereo to Surround Sound synthesis, I agree. The real thing is always best! :)

But, if you don't have a surround track, you either synthesize it or do without those rear channels, not that I miss them, you understand.. :-)
