For quality Classical BD~As, I highly recommend TACET and Sono Luminus.

...

Quite right for the former, but not familiar of the latter.

BTW, do TACET have a download service avaIlable?

I have NO clue as to whether TACET offers digital downloads (my guess, probably) but I do have roughly 15 of the wonderful sounding Sono Luminus BD~As.

BTW, Sono Luminus also includes a RBCD with their BD~As and they come packaged in a RBCD double case.

What I consider a rare treat ZOFORBIT - ZOFO

I think it's fair to say that hi-res audio, whether DVD-a, sacd, or bd-a is fundamentally incompatible with Naxos' basic business model. A niche within a niche just doesn't work with the "sell a lot of units cheap" approach that has made the company successful. And frankly the results haven't been all that good, and I've tried all three formats.

I would tend to agree with you, Bill but with Naxos' thousands upon thousands of catalogue titles, I should think they would've better served their 'clients' with more than one or two discs per BD~A.

Also, their use of the surround channels except for a few exceptional releases, has almost been non~existent. Sometimes the rear channels were way too low in the mix and I found it to my advantage to go with the stereo layer.

If only ALL Naxos BD~As sounded quite this good: Mahler: Symphony No. 8 - Wit

I've heard only this one Blu-ray Audio from Naxos: Vivaldi: Concertos Op. 8 No. 1-6 (inc Four Seasons) - Lin. The surround sound is very good: the rears gives a natural perspective to the acoustics of the Church of the Holy Trinity. The performance - the world famous chamber ensemble Sejong - is spirited and fresh. Excellent recording, indeed.

Here is the latest album of the series. David Hurwitz wrote quite exhaustive review:

The recording quality is indeed very impressive (listen the begin of the track 3). Any comments?
