Hello,
This is my first posting here. I do own a few SA-CDs (eg. Goldsmith's Timeline, Great Train Robbery, Film Music Collection, etc). I am excited but I have not bought any SACD player yet.
Since I am also in need to get a DVD recorder, I do not want to buy so many gadgets. Does anyone know if there is any DVD recorder in the market with SACD features?

I would suspect virtually every sacd player you find would play DVD movies but NOT record........To be absolutely certain look at the specifications or better still buy a player known as a Universal type machine which will include the abilty to play DVDAs as well...D

I haven't found one yet but when Blu-Ray finally comes along, there is a Philips recorder IPS01 (check out http://www.blu-ray.com/recorders/#philips for pictures). This is, or will be shortly, available in Japan. As my Japanese isn't great, I can't locate it on Philips' own website! I'd suggest waiting to see how it all pans out.
