I bought my DVD/SACD player in December and have purchased 16 SACDs so far.
Columbia House is having a buy 1 get 3 free sale. So I'm stocking up on the Dylan remasters. I have some bonus certificates too so I'll get 3 more for free.
I wrote to both Columbia House and BMG urging them to offer more SACDs.

I have 97, of which 39 are classical, 51 are jazz and the rest are pop/rock.
Unlike other SACD enthusiasts, perhaps, I do not keep disks that I find disappointing in one way or another. I have sold, given away or traded about 70 SACDs for this reason.

Some 2000 CDs.
At first we were buying almost everything that was available. Now, there are more titles available than we’re interested in buying. Also, already have 3 different performances of the Planets, 2 each of Carmina Burana, Mahler’s 3rd and 5th… and 2 complete sets of Beethoven’s symphonies, which makes whopping 4 different recordings of Beethoven’s 5th symphony in a relatively small Hi-Res audio collection. Do you guys also have the same problem – plenty of new recordings, but not much variety, so we’re buying lots of similar stuff just for the sake of exploring the new format?

Roughly 70 SACDs
Almost 50 of those are of HK pop music, with the rest being Western pop/rock. Latest SACD purchased....Bon Jovi "The Left Feels Right" and George Harrison "Live In Japan".

I guess (just a guess, I don't count my records since when I passed the 2000 CD barrier seven years ago) I am somewhere betwwen 200 and 250.

I have somewhere around 350-400 SACD's (last count was 335 a number of months ago). All ranges of music and styles.

This guzzlefish site is a neat idea. I've been thinking of adding a facility for people to list their own SACD collections here but wondered whether anyone would be interested. It's potentially an information gathering tool for the site which may make some people uncomfortable.
