Marpow,

I went to that same Winterland concert of the Three Kings.
Do you remember the date of that show? Doesn't have to be exact.
I'd sure appreciate it as a friend and I who saw them together
were talking about it just today and we weren't sure.
Thank you for your time and attention.

No wonder he was, he only played in one string and dont know do chords.
Mediocre musician.

Well that was unnecessarily harsh.
And in very bad taste to boot.

Eric,
I don't have the slightest of memory. I know I was in high school and I don't think I was driving yet. It would be between 1970 and 1973. I want to say 1972? I remember it as an almost all black audience at the time. The very first show I went to at Winterland was Sly And The Family Stone, I was a freshman 1970.

Before my generation was the hippies who had political and social considerations.
My generation was the Stoners and we just considered getting high and listening to music, didn't really care about anything else.

So memory's, as it seems you, can be very hard at times. I wish I could have a clear video in my head of all the concerts I have been to but I don't think it is gonna happen.

So that is a real bummer to be able to say I saw Freddie King, but I remember zero.

The concert at Winterland with the Three B's, Paul Butterfield, Michael Bloomfield, and Elvin Bishop, they did three individual sets and a final set together at end, now I do remember that.
