So, this arrived from Amazon today and I have to say it is good to finally see the Blu Ray format being exploited by Universal a bit more, with all the CD box content included on this single disc. Let's hope this is the start of a trend to catch up with the likes of Ape Records or Panegyric and their respective XTC & Yes releases that truly set the benchmark for hi-res Blu Ray audio.
Furthermore, after many people experienced a non-functioning download code in the pack, Universal seem to have fixed that issue and at 7.1GB, it looks very much like they have also finally seen sense and provided hi-res digital files instead of MP3s.
The on-screen front end is simple yet functional, as we've come to expect, and the LPCM 2.0 96/24 track sounds great, as does the DTS-HD MA 2.0 track. The Dolby True HD sounded a bit weak by comparison. I'm not sure of the source, but the content sounds better than the store-bought MP3 downloads I had previously.
This is my first 2.0 HFPA release and I'm pretty content with it in terms of quality and value.
UPDATE:
I'm happy to confirm that the digital download code provided does indeed deliver all 43 tracks as WAV files! :-)

One can ONLY imagine the real estate available on the upcoming UHD 4K discs!!
Only the Decca Solti Rings EVER took FULL advantage of the real estate of BD~A's present capacity!
One album per BD~A disc was a travesty and could just as easily have been accomodated on a single hybrid SACD or DVD~A.
Have Disco on pre~order and it's at least encouraging that Universal saw fit to include three albums (albeit stereo, only) on a single BD~A for a very canny price.

Yes, I would not have bought it otherwise. I'm a huge vinyl fan, but to get all the CD box content on a single BD-A was the clincher.
And, as I have just updated the original post, the download content is WAV, which is a welcome bonus :-) I couldn't understand how HFPA could offer these discs with MP3 downloads... bonkers!
