I am tempted to purchase this as I have Live and Forget About It in SACD. I am a Stereo SACD listener, however, and would appreciate thoughts on how the 2ch SACD stacks up against the Redbook (which I already have).

I dont have the redbook version of this, but I can guarantee you will love the sound quality. I am not much of a country / folk fan, but this album really moves me with the sound of her voice and the instrumentation. If I were to sum up the album, it would be absolute clarity of sound.

For all the Alison Krauss fans out there, please do yourself a favour and buy this title:

Appalachian Journey - Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, Mark O'Connor

She is also singing divinely on this one, and soundwise this one of the very best Sony SACD I've heard, as well as one of my best sounding pure stereo only SACDs. And the music is hard not to love, check my review.
