You'll be pleased. I've heard a sneak preview of both of these 4.0 Multichannel SACDs.

BS&T is very good and the Guess Who is going to be a big hit I predict. Wow !

It's a good thing AF did away with the 5,000 copies limit otherwise this one would probably sell out immediately.

Got my copy and I think it sound wonderful. Ending of Spinning Wheel is totally different, just a fade out.

Well, hoop, time to get out the digital splicing tape, and edit the proper ending back in ;-)!

Glad to hear it meets with your approval. Was always one of my very favorite albums and I did see the album performed Live WAY back in the day.....with that exact same lineup of musicians including Canadian lead singer David Clayton~Thomas....and on the same bill with Sly and the Family Stone.

"AF platinum Membership has its privileges," hoop, as I probably won't receive mine for another couple of weeks.

Just wasn't expecting just a fade out. Some albums you know by heart and this is one of them. Just sounds so good I'll get use to it.

I hate when they take liberties with classic albums....but I, for one, can't wait to hear it.

Saw Gov't Mule's LIVE version (in DD 5.1) of Dark Side Of The Mule tonite wherein they perform classic PF and while it's great and all, I know Floyd's albums by heart, as well, and it just wasn't the same.

An audacious DVD worth seeking out as the Floyd stuff has some discreet surround effects which are very cool.

Is it the Quad that fades out or the stereo? TIA :-)
