I noticed many DG titles being released on Japanese SACD & was contemplating buying a few from Amazon now that the yen has dropped in value. However some titles have been released on blu-ray in the US. Several recordings are also getting put on to one blu-ray disc as a bonus in box sets (Klieber, von Karajan)
Does anyone have any inside knowledge of any planned releases for these titles on blu-ray in the US? Which are the best classical recordings on SACD not likely to get released on blu-ray? Warner Brothers has also released titles on SACD in Japan, however these haven't been released on blu-ray in the US/EU (so far), just on regular cd (but advertised as being "remastered to 24/96"), so maybe the Warner's titles would be the best to pick up as they won't get US/EU high res releases.
