Oh, Gallén is a fine player, no question. I do wish he had used a modern guitar, as I prefer their more robust sound.

$15 shipping is indeed exorbitant

Dear Fugue and Euell,
International shipping is expensive, especially for a single disc. Though $15 seems like a lot, and is, that's about what it costs. And don't forget it's not just the postage but the packing materials too.

While I can hear your violins playing, shipping will be $3.99 when the recording comes to Amazon, including Royal Airmail from Britain. $20 US for the disk is not a giveaway price either.

International shipping cost from third party Amazon.com is also $15.

Those that sell through Amazon US charge the standard $3.99, even though they ship from Britain (e.g., Zoverstocks) or Europe. And, there are plenty of those 3rd-party sellers. I buy from them quite frequently, as their prices are often a bit better then sellers here.

Dear friends,

I'm glad that you are interested in our first SACD! I just wanted to let you know that we now have US distributor, which means that the SACD will be soon available on Amazon (probably at some point this month). I understand that you find our shipping rates high, but unfortunately, they are what they cost to us:)

Thnaks!

Gonzalo
