Certainly not the Haitink. Was merely answering the question posed concerning whether it was the Chicago version. I think the Jarvi probably will be the one to go, although it is not bad.

yes, Järvi's 7th could be dispensed with (although I liked his more recent 4th and 5th)

It is interesting to compare Fischer's times in Bruckner 7 with other recent recordings of the Nowak version. Fischer is perhaps intending to address what many people think of Bruckner's symphonies, that the musical ideas move too slowly, whether through repetition or slowish tempos. I think that Fischer may be onto something here. Fischer is uniformly quicker in every movement than any recording of which I am aware. Here are some comparisons on SACD:
First movement: Fischer 18.42 Janowski 21:05 Haitink 21.33 Jarvi 21.59 Blomstedt 22.00
Second movement: Fischer 18.36 Janowski 21.05 Haitink 22.20 Jarvi 22.52 Blomstedt 24.22
Third movement: Fischer 9.04 Janowski 9.47 Haitink 10.30 Jarvi 9.55 Blomstedt 10.08
Fourth movement: Fischer 10.22 Janowski 13.15 Haitink 13.01 Jarvi 12.39 Blomstedt 13.14
There is an obvious pattern here. Does Fischer sound rushed? I didn't think so, nor did I think the Adagio lacked gravitas. We just have not heard this symphony played this way before, and it sounds a bit more like Wagner, whom Bruckner idolized.
And, it goes without saying that the Channel sound is great.

Thanks, Euell! This confirms why this Bruckner recording is so much more interesting to me than others. Usually I think of Bruckner as much sturm und drang without purpose. This makes me feel like there is some direction now to the undeniably lovely phrases. Really looking forward to the Brahms after listening on line to the Proms concert.
