Edit: I now realise what you meant by why does it cost more than the others.. It is NOT a Universal Music HFPA disc, it's a Blu-ray Audio (that conforms to the "Pure Audio" spec) on an indie label.
OK, I thought it was one of the HFPA. I guess I should have read the info more carefully.

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused :-) meantime, I think you'd love this one Thomas, it's a beautiful album and fidelity and mix are stellar.. I agree the price is less than ideal but I think as its a smaller label they have to charge a premium to make ends meet, unlike the big boys at HFPA.

FWIW, I think its turning out to be pretty popular, I've had a number of friends over at QQ who have ordered it already and I'm not entirely sure how limited the print run is/was.. although the label could just press more copies if it sells out I guess.

As a representative for Drivonrecords and one of the Producers of this Pure Audio Blu Ray, it drives me crazy that Amazon is advertising this disc which they do not even have in inventory for $48. The MSRP of this disc available on the Acoustic Sounds website or on our website www.lorilieberman.com is $29.98. It is also available as a DSD or Flac on the Hi Rez downloads website for either $17.95 or $24.95 depending on the version.

We have plenty of copies as we just did a new run of discs. As an artist Lori loved working with this format and having done all the tracking on this album the work done by Ronald Prent and Darcy Proper for the surround mixing and mastering was first rate and thrilling to hear as we had reservations regarding surround mixes of Lori's music.

As I have said in a previous post Lori and I had a lot of reservations about working in surround and after turning over the tracks to the remarkably capable Ronald Prent and Darcy Proper we were thrilled at the result and the subleties with which he mixed and she mastered the tracks .
