How do we submit Blu-ray Audio titles to the SA-CD.net database?

Elton's Yellow Brick Road Blu-ray just arrived and its really something rather special in Stereo.

I haven't tried the 5.1 yet but I expect it to be the same as the old SACD)..

..the Stereo however is brand new and its absolutely wonderful.. I'm just itching to tell you all here more about it..!!!

Click on summit button, see what others have done first so you don't make a mistake, summiting disc with missing info will make you submission incomplete and you can't go back to fix it.

Take your time.

Make sure you have a cover art.

Simply use the usual submission form.
You'll see new thumbnail selectors which will indicate formats.

I don't think concert videos should be included. This is an audio only site, correct?

Even though I am a major proponent of BD~V, including concert discs, I agree with SAM. It's a music site, first and foremost.

Yes, this is primarily a music site but BD-V wasn't an option or a medium when this site was commenced. The salienet point surely is that BD-V is BD-A only plus a little bit more than "just" the music. If you don't like that bit more, that extra facility, then turn the picture of and listen to the Hi Res surround sound, and get music such as the Elgar cello cto (not available on SACD) and artists like Kaufman, Mutter, Rattle, Barenboim et al. How is that not serving the music?

I just want to clarify this sites definition of Blu-ray Audio.

I see a couple of Steven Wilson Blu-ray discs have been submitted (Grace for Drowning & Drive Home) , one by me and another by some else, which haven't been approved yet...

I'm assuming its a blu-ray disc that its "main content" is hi-rez audio. I believe Grace for Drowning fits in this category, as it has the full album in stereo and 5.1 Hi-rez, plus a couple of bonus videos...

Drive Home is an interesting one being effectively a Blu-ray "EP". It's mainly a Video concert & a couple of Music Videos but there are also some audio only tracks though as well.

While it may seem an arbitrary distinction (and it really is) the aim here is to concentrate (at least) initially on audio-only titles. This from a practical perspective as there's limited resources here to research and catalogue these. Also, I don't want to get into tabulating video resolutions, region coding etc. It's a big enough change as it is!

Confusing to have BD audio disks on here as well.

Is it possible to at least mark the thumbnails differently ...

If you use the Format filter (as I outlined above) the site will be much the same as it was before. This setting should be retained for the duration of your visit.

I can see your point, but how can you ignore titles such as these? : ) : ) :

How do you define "audio only" though?

As an example- I'd assume the Rush 2112 title doesn't fit, as it has a video (comic strip) with the disc?
