I just finished my information review of the ma Recordings 3 hour SACD. Yes three hours! I have listened to the SACD layer 3 times and the CD layer once. I highly recommend this one and wanted to point it out.

Happy listening,
Teresa

You are wrong when you claim that this is the first SACD with with 3 hours playing time, as you do in your review. There is a set on BIS containing all of Bach´s organ music on 5 SACD´s. Three of them are more than 4 hours long, the other two 3 1/2, and almost 4.

Right you are. Actually it's Todd Garfinkle of Ma recordings claim not mine I used quotes "" he must not know about the BIS Bach organ works SACDs. But it is the first using high resolution PCM, the BIS Bach organ works was from 44.1kHz 16 Bit masters.

You should check out this SACD it is excellent.

Too bad the MA label doesn't do SACDs of it's releases. I'm now listening to the Peter Epstein CD "The Invisible", and it's one of the best sounding CDs I've ever heard, a 96kHz PCM recoring made in 1998.
