Well, I wouldn't say America is as innocent as a choir child, but I believe all nations have their share of shame.

No country really has clean hands nowadays. It is human nature leaning towards its bad side. Had WWII been the opposite of what it was (happened in the USA and Europe would have freed them), Europe would be the world's criticized bossy policeman today.

It is the heart of the problem that must be changed, not its surface.

That's IF there would have been any people left in the world had WW2 ended the opposite of what it did ... I know I would not be posting this, for sure ...

I suppose you're referring to Nazism, but the assumption I wrote did not concern WWII as it actually happened. I was imagining a complete different turn of events in another context (if WWII had been a war starting in the USA, triggered by some evil politician there, and Europe would have been there to free the continent, with no Nazism in this imaginary situation) in order to illustrate the idea that there is always someone who ends up taking profit, be the winner and get criticized - no matter how things turn up to be. No double-entendre or insinuation.

So, no new release date, anyone ?

I know this has nothing to do with a release date, I just feel like saying this. I listen to a lot of classical, and while I fully respect the opinions expressed so far in this thread, I really feel that Pink Floyd's "Final Cut" and Waters' "Amused to Death" are masterpieces in their own right. Deep emotion, thought, storytelling, the opposite of the garbage that is put out by mainstream rock & pop of today. Ok, good night to you all.

Acoustic Sounds has Sept 23rd, 2014 on their website. I wouldn't hold my breathe on that!

Had this album on vinyl way back when - didn´t do a lot for me. To be honest I got tired of Waters trying to ram his politics down my throat. From what I hear the other members of Floyd felt just the same...
