I just noticed on the site of Harmonia Mundi Musicora in Switzerland that Linn Records appears to be releasing the next instalment in Benjamin Zander's Mahler cycle, i.e. symphony 2, which had been announced already a while ago. A certain well-known seller in its German guise has the release date scheduled on September 1st. Personally, I don't need yet another M2 and I find his previous recordings in the cycle so so, but for aficionados of Zander it might be welcome news.

I hope you will forgive me, but I have quoted your thread on the Thread: Will Telarc complete Zander's Mahler cycle? with a little additional information about the UK release date. I am sure many other than me are grateful for the information you supplied.

sure, no problem at all. Thanks for the additional info. With Miah Persson as one of the singers, I'm tempted to buy yet another M2. (She also did the M2 w/ Haitink and the CSO and Fischer's M4)
