Today, while in music Mecca Ludwig Beck (Munich), I noticed that the just released European version of this disc is NOT a SACD. Also, if you check out the front and back pictures on the usual seller sites, you will see that any indication of it being a SACD is lacking. So for potential punters: beware that you most probably will not buy the SACD version. The SACD version of #5 which I have, was released in Japan last year May. But it appears that SONY has decided to no longer release the remaining recordings in Järvi's cycle on SACD in Europe. That's a shame, for it means we have to rely on expensive imports.

If you are [most probably] right then Sony itself is confused. Both
http://klassik.sonymusic.de and http://www.sonymusicshop.jp indicate that the European Bruckner 5 [88765492432] is SACD-Hybrid. However it looks like the Bruckner 7 [8869798445-2] and 9 [8869798446-2] are being re-issued on RBCD. These are released this month. Also the Japanese release of the Bruckner 4 on SACD hybrid is imminent [SICC-10188 on the 26 June 2013]

Red Seal used to do dual inventory, they may still do so. HMV used to stock the RB versions of this series and the Zinman Mahler's, which used to confuse.

I've pulled links to what has been reported as a RBCD release, so these links should get you the SACD version.
