What I'm really looking forward to is the AF SACD of Blade Runner which is THE no~brainer purchase for me.

No word yet on Blade Runner as to its release date, they have two 24K CDs for July so might not be released till August, but I could be wrong.

No offense, but I HOPE you're wrong... I want that disc ASAP :-)

Watch the movie and isolate the soundtrack and be content until it's released.

At least it'll be in 5.1 lossless audio!

I have asked AF because there is a 5.1 audio track on the Movie it should be easy to add that to the SACD but never got an answer.

And you probably won't. I'm sure there's a lot more involved then just transferring the cues from the movie soundtrack to a full fledged 5.1 SACD remaster.

Vangelis certainly recorded the soundtrack in multitrack but only the stereo masters were supplied to AF for the transfers.

Perhaps someday we might get an overview of Vangelis' work in true 5.1....would also love Chariots of Fire and Antarctica in 5.1 as well.

A) Well, I got every existing edition on DVD and BD, but unfortunately none has the soundtrack isolated in dedicated channels - and if so, there are sound effects mixed in.
I'd rather wait for this SA-CD. Does anyone have the LP ?

B) So do I.

Yes's Close To The Edge¨ was awaiting repress after less than two weeks. It sold very quickly. More than 5,000 copies of Pink Floyds ¨Wish You Were Here¨ were pressed.

I just received this from AF, I think they did a excellent job on this one. There are some deep bass which I never remember hearing before. All I have to compare it with is HDtracks download version and AF version is so much better.

Thanks, Thomas.

How do you think it compares audio-quality-wise with the "Close To The Edge" SACD?
